About This Game

hadows of Winter is a fantasy first-person shooter/slasher and opening book of The Lost Prophecies saga. This epic adventure is experienced through the eyes of a courageous soldier battling both the forces of evil and the hardships of an under-privileged social caste.

In this tale, you don the tattered tunic of Callum Elkhardt and journey across the battle-scarred duchy of Onora and the frozen reaches of Kardrak in a quest to save a fallen lord's daughter from the clutches of the evil arch-duke, Salatas Löwen and his murderous armies bent on ruling all of the kingdom of Parmathia unchallenged.

You soon discover there's more to rescuing this damsel in distress than originally revealed. Supernatural forces, long since believed to be only myth, resurface and wreak devastation around you.

Will Parmathia be liberated from tyranny or be consumed by the shadows of an ancient evil?

Use a deadly arsenal of historic and mythical arms & armour at your disposal to battle Löwen's army and the forces of darkness.

Cast spells from two distinct grimoire (spellbooks) that can heal your allies or roast your enemies within their armour. Valuable items may aid you along your journey such as Ausbessern Herbs to mend your wounds and Vis Crystals to energize your spells. Wield the mighty Flamberge to impale mounted opponents or employ the awesome strength of the Arbalest to perforate your enemies from afar. The choice is yours.
The Shadows of Winter beckon.
